Design story:

Classic band of married metals. Back in the 1970s an elder from Taxco (a community of jewelers in the mountains South of Mexico City), taught me how to do Metales Casados, an almost lost art brought by the Spaniards to the New World: Keep the blue of the flame on the coolest wire and observe the changing colors.
